Vote for the Best of Everything in Farmington and Farmington Hills

It's time to pick the favorites you helped nominate in more than 20 categories.

There is a lot to celebrate about our town: great family-friendly activities, beautiful parks and historic landmarks, and great local businesses.

But which do you think are the best?

For three weeks in June and July you told us about your favorite hair salons, restaurants, dry cleaners and more.

Now it's time to put those nominations to a vote.

Cast your votes in the 23 categories below by Aug. 17 and help us decide who's best. If you have trouble voting in the polls included with this article, click on the category links to find individual polls.

Whichever business gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner in that category. You must log in to Patch to vote; you may vote once in each category. The winners will be announced Aug. 24.

(If you're reading this on our mobile site, know that you have to view the desktop version to see the polls.)

Vote, and spread the word!

Why wasn't Cedars listed under the Middle Eastern food? Their Fattoush is the best around!

Jan, there were only two Middle Eastern restaurants named in comments during the time we were taking nominations. Maybe we should include "Best Fattoush" in a future Readers' Choice poll!

I also feel lots of places weren't included and categories as well, like best cupcakes (such as Just Baked).

I must have missed the nomination process, which is weird because I get Patch emails and facebook posts all the time. But I would agree with Rebecca, lots of places missing from the voting. I also agree with Jan, Cedar is fantastic, and so is Pineland. Would vote for either of those a hundred times over the overpriced places listed.

Every piece of clothing that I have purchased at Clothes Encounter I get a lots of compliments and their quality is excellent. Both Stacy and Larry seem to have a lot of expertise in fashion. Love that store. Nancy Cook
