Why go: The Farmington Players bring Charles Dickens' classic and timeless holiday story to life this weekend, with a fresh approach. The novella was first published in 1843, and the story unfolds on Christmas Eve of 1843. This time Dickens hosts the Christmas Eve party and when asked to tell a story, he refuses to work on the holiday eve. He asks his family and friends to improvise and each take part in the story telling. You will still see Scrooge, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. A cast of 10 actors play over 40 parts in this unique version of a holiday classic.
