Weekend Countdown: 'A Christmas Spectacular'

Tuesday brings us just a little bit closer to the weekend. With the holiday season upon us, there is much to do in our area. We're sharing our daily picks for fun and interesting events happening in the area, and on Friday, we will compile the list to help you plan your next weekend's adventures.

Why go: Shining Star Performing Arts Academy presents A Christmas Spectacular this Saturday. Enjoy live ballet dancers performing songs and dances from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, and Annie. There will also be a live performance from the band A.N.I. All that for only $5, and bring your camera for a meet and greet with Santa Claus.
