Weekend Countdown: Nancy Wright Beasley - Author Visit and Book Signing

Why go: The Holocaust Memorial Center is thrilled to have author Nancy Wright Beasley join them on Sunday, and everyone is welcome to come listen to this nationally recognized, award-winning journalist and speaker whose career spans 30 years. Ms. Beasley will speak on her latest book Izzy’s Fire: Finding Humanity in the Holocaust. Izzy's Fire was created in a seven-year journey as Beasley began to understand the significance of recording survivor history. She read memoirs, interviewed survivors and found Edna Ipson's ("Izzy's") memoirs that let her to tell the story of how he who helped his family escape from Kovno Ghetto, one of the most notorious killing fields for Jews in Lithuania.
