Weekend Countdown: Winter Blast at the Farmington YMCA

It's Monday and the excitement of the holidays has come to a close, but the weekend isn't that far off. Let's do something fun and look ahead at what will be going on in and around town. On Friday, we will compile a list to help you plan your weekend.

When: Saturday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. 

Why go: We may be lacking in snow, but that won't stop the Farmington Family YMCA from kicking off the winter season with an afternoon of fun-filled family activities on Saturday.  Celebrate winter with some cool events including ice cube races in the pool, glacier platform races, a winter clothes relay, hockey, an artic craft, snow cones, and a sensory table for exploration.  If these chilly activities make you shiver, you can enjoy warming up around the bonfire with a cup of hot cocoa.
