UPDATED: Farmington, Farmington Hills Elections 2013

Campaign season is over, and voters in Farmington and Farmington Hills go to the polls Tuesday to decide local races.

7:25 p.m. 
- The polls close at 8 p.m., and we'll be at the Farmington Public Schools Ten Mile Building to await election results with school officials. We'll be updating results here: Farmington, Farmington Hills 2013 Election Results.

1:20 p.m.
- Farmington Hills city clerk Pam Smith reports a quiet morning at the polls. The city issued 7,894 absent voter ballots, and at 11:45 a.m., 6,792 had been returned, and two voters were dropping off their ballots. Farmington Hills has a team of workers processing absentee ballots at city hall. As of 12:15 p.m., 125 votes had been cast at the Costick Center (Precinct 13) and 235 at Forest Elementary (Precinct 3). 

11:15 a.m.
- Several late morning voters were at Farmington City Hall, the Precinct 1 polling place, and around 90 walk-in ballots had been cast. City clerk Sue Halberstadt reported a quiet morning. Of the more than 1,100 absent voter ballots requested, 979 had been returned by election day. In August, 1,023 Farmington ballots had been cast before election day.
