Lunch with the Authors at the 61st Annual Jewish Book Fair


The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan
Detroit’s 61st Annual Jewish Book Fair will be held November 7-18 and will feature leading figures from the arts, entertainment, politics, business and journalism .


Thursday, November 15th at noon, Lunch with the
Authors.  Devan Siphar, “The Wedding Beat,” is the
classic boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy assigned to write article aboutgirl’s wedding story. From the real-life (unmarried) writer of the New York Times’ “Vows” wedding column is an irresistible tale of a fictional (unmarried)
wedding columnist at The Paper. Francesca Sega , “The Innocents” is among Oprah’s list of best beach reads,  The Innocents is the story of growing up in a tight knit Jewish community.  Adam is the perfect Jewish boy and the perfect catch. Rachel, his girlfriend since high
school, is pure, innocent and the kind of woman he always expected to wed. Scott Lasser, “Say Nice Things About Detroit” is in his new novel, Say Nice Things About Detroit, Michigan native Scott Lasser has captured the good, bad, ugly and beautiful things about Detroit.
