The City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division will offer prospective music students an opportunity to meet talented music teachers during this open house.

Individual lessons, taught by high-quality instructors include:

Guitar Lessons

Learn to play your favorite pieces and musical styles on acoustic, electric or bass guitar.  Lessons are held Monday and Tuesday evenings; session dates and times vary.  All ages and skill levels are welcome, from beginning to advanced, and including professionals.  Lessons are taught by Wayne Mrdjenovic, a full time musician and performer, and owner of The Music Studio who has been playing guitar professionally for 35 years. For more information, go to www.themusicstudio.us.com.

Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are offered for adults and children ages 8 and older, from beginner to advanced.  They are held on a weekly basis, Monday to Thursday.  Session dates and times vary.  Longacre’s instructor, James Nuckolls, holds a degree from the Detroit Institute of Musical Art, and has studied piano with such highly respected pianists as Henry Kolbe and Harold De Remer. His performing career has included concerts throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as on TV and radio.
