Scout Days at the Nature Center

Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts can now complete their badges, achievements, and journeys with the help of a naturalist at the City of Farmington Hills Nature Center. Scout Saturdays take place once a month from September through May. Each session is filled with interactive activities and outdoor time designed to meet Scouting requirements.

The fee is $7 per Scout per program. Pre-registration is required one week in advance and can be done at the Costick Center or online at https://recreg.fhgov.com. A drop-in option is not available for this program. Please make sure Scouts are dressed for the weather and exploring outdoors.


In addition to the topics offered during Scout Saturdays, private Scout programs of various topics can be reserved at the Nature Center. Programs are available after school or on weekends. Please call the Nature Center to find out what additional badges are offered and to reserve a date. Scout leaders are responsible for purchasing actual badges or patches.
