Walk for Warmth at Great Lakes Crossing

OLHSA, a Community Action Agency’s 23rd Annual Walk for Warmth presented by Genisys Credit Union is returning to Great Lakes Crossing Outlets for the second year. This Saturday, February 23 at 8 a.m., people from across Oakland County will begin gathering for the Walk’s golden anniversary and to help their neighbors stay warm this winter. By 9 a.m., the Walk will be in full swing with a kick-off including live singing of the National Anthem, presentation of colors by the Osborn Knight JROTC, followed by the Cabar Freidh Pipe Band leading the walkers.

It’s sure to be a morning full of entertainment for the entire family, start to finish. From live music provided by The Strangers and The Genisys Band to the Kiddie Court full of games for the little ones, there is something for everyone. The fun doesn’t have to stop after the Walk is over; stay for an afternoon of shopping, catch a movie or enjoy one of the several restaurants in the mall.
