First Presbyterian SWINGS into 2014 with the Cliff Monear Trio

First Presbyterian Church of Farmington's popular performing arts series, "Great Performances in a Sacred Space", kicks off the New Year with an afternoon of outstanding instrumental and vocal jazz performed by the acclaimed Cliff Monear Trio and guest vocalist Ja Franco on Sunday, January 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Pianist Cliff Monear, a product of Boston's famed Berklee College of Music, is a faculty member in Wayne State's highly regarded Jazz Studies program and also serves as the exclusive Steinway & Sons representative to the Michigan jazz community.

Guest vocalist Ja Franco is a singer/songwriter of incredible range and repertoire.  She is often described as a "singer's singer" because of her remarkable musicality, broad vocal range, and the interpretive passion she brings to her performances and audiences.

No tickets are needed but a donation of $15 per person or $25 per family is suggested to fund the musicians.  Ample free parking is available and the entire facility is barrier free and handicap accessible.
