Community Corner

Fall Kick-Off Worship, Service Projects and Pig Roast

Join members of Hope for their Fall Kick-Off event the morning of Sunday, Sept. 8. They will gather at 8:30am for coffee and bagels and an uplifting service in celebration of "God's Work, Our Hands" Sunday. Then from 9:30-11:30am, members of Hope and community are invited to SERVE by doing service projects. Some will stay at the church and pack 10,000 meals for the Kids Against Hunger Coalition, while others will be doing all sorts of maintenance work at Farmington Hills Heritage Park and the Costick Center. All will gather back at the church to continue the celebration with a pig roast meal ($5 donation) and fun and games for the whole family. The church invites the community at large to join their efforts as a way to love your neighbors and make your community a better place. Let's do it together! For more information, visit Hope's event information page (http://www.hope-lutheran-church.com/pages/page.asp?page_id=283128).
