Raymond Randolph Jr. on Civil Rights

Mr.
Randolph will speak on his personal experiences with significant events in
Civil Rights history. He was one of the Richmond 34 – students from Virginia
Union University who staged a sit-in at a department store lunch counter. He
was also a member of the Freedom Riders, the civil rights activist group that traveled
in interstate buses in Mississippi to challenge the local and state segregation
laws.
