Showdown in Motown

It’s a question baseball purists and Detroit Tigers fans have argued for decades: Was the 1968 World Series team better than the 1984 World Series team – or vice versa? Host Eli Zaret and a star-‐studded lineup representing both teams will debate the issue at “Showdown in Motown”, Wednesday Dec. 4th, 6:00 pm. at MGM Grand in Detroit. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit U.S. Military All-‐Stars; Vets Returning Home; and Operation Injured Soldiers.Limited tickets are available at $150 by calling (810) 588-9106 or visiting: www.supportusmas.com. The evening of story telling, dining and nostalgia will also include a player meet and greet, free autographs and memorabilia auctions featuring items from Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Justin Verlander and more.
