Showing of the film A Place at the Table

Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church will be showing the film A Place at the Table on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 pm.  In the film, directors Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush examine the issue of hunger in America through portraits of three of the more than 50 million Americans struggling with food insecurity.   A Place at the Table shows us how hunger poses serious economic, social and cultural implications for our nation, and that it could be solved once and for all if we are willing to make the necessary changes.

This event is free and open to the public.
