The Farmington Musicale "Salute to American Music"
The program
will cover a broad range of music and a variety of instruments to show the
diversity of our country’s music. There will be singers, a clarinet ensemble, a
violin solo and piano music performing different selections. The program will feature folk songs, an Armed Forces
Salute (clarinets), Sousa’s Stars and
Stripes Forever (two pianists), spirituals and Broadway songs. It will be
an enjoyable afternoon of American music as we hear selections from the musical
heritage from our great county. The program is offered free to the public.
