Battle of the Middles Raises Funds Dec. 13 for Farmington Area Charities

Neighborhood House and Farmington Area Goodfellows will benefit from the basketball game involving Farmington Public Schools staff members.

The battle between North versus South takes place at the Ninth Annual Battle of the Middles Charity Basketball Game, held at Farmington High School on Dec. 13.

The annual event pits the staffs of Warner Upper Elementary School and Dunckel Middle School against the staffs of Power Upper Elementary School and East Middle School to help raise money, and collect food and toys for Neighborhood House and Farmington Area Goodfellows.

Last year's game raised more than $7,000 and helped more than 200 families. Over the past eight years, the Battle of the Middles has helped raise more than $27,000 and collected countless canned goods and toys.
