Cipriano Classic 5K Walk & Run Benefit

Friends of a Farmington Hills family devastated by  have organized a 5K Fun Run & Walk today to benefit the Cipriano Children's Fund. 

Cost is $25 for entries postmarked by June 2 or in person until June 6, but participants must register by May 25 to guarantee a t-shirt. Registration the day of the event is $30. 

Participants can register on-line at www.active.com, or by returning the flyer posted with this article to the YMCA. Sponsorship and in-kind donations are also welcome, contact Denise Morgott at dmorgott@earthlink.net or 248-496-4975 for a sponsorship packet.

, 52, was killed and his wife, Rose, 51, and son Salvatore, 17, were injured April 16 during an assault in their Farmington Hills home. Two Cipriano children, Isabella, 8, and Salvatore's twin brother, Tanner, were at home, but were not injured.  The Ciprianos' oldest son, Tucker, 19, and his friend Mitchell Young, 20, face felony charges in connection with the murder and assaults.

I don't know what to "click" on to find the garage sales. They used to be "rightRead More there" when I opened the Patch email everyday. I am assuming they are now listed under something else and I guess I need instructions as to where to find it and what to click on to get to them. thanks

Grama, in addition to our Thursday map, you can click on the Events link at the top of the page, andRead More along the left side, you'll see "Garage Sales". Just click on that, and you'll see all the listings. They should be among the events in our newsletter, too. Hope that helps!
