Derby Dinner Raises Funds for Scholarships

The American Business Women's Association and the Vietnam Veterans of America invite you to their Derby Dinner at the Oakland County Sportsmen's Club, 4770 Waterford Road, Clarkston from 4 to 8 p.m. This is a fund raiser with proceeds to benefit Education Funds (scholarships for needy students). The afternoon will include a fabulour buffet dinner, beverages, cash bar, vido horse race, music, race day prices, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and prize for the best Derby hat! A donation of $35 will cover admission for the buffet. Both the Tipacon and Great Oakland Chapters of the ABWA and Oakland County Chapter #133 of the Vietnam Veterans are sponsoring the event. Members come from all over Oakland County, including Farmington Hills, Novi, Waterford, Rochester, Clarkston, Warren, Ortonville, Holly, Troy and Sterling Heights. ABWA is a National Association that has over 15,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. It's mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. The ABWA is asking for your support by donating a door prize or by donating financially to this worth cause.
