Book lovers will gather at the Farmington Community Library Main Library for a discussion of Major Pettigrew's Last Stand, by Helen Simonson. The novel centers around the courtship of a retired British officer and a widow of Pakistani descent, and touches on cultural and religious issues. Admission to the book discussion is free.
