Farmington Hills After-School Program Kids Pack Thanksgiving Bags

The students work with employees from Farmington Hills-based PKC Group and Busch's Fresh Food Market to provide Thanksgiving dinners for 75 area families.

Students in the City of Farmington Hills after-school program at the Costick Center packed bags of food Thursday to ensure 75 area families have a good Thanksgiving dinner.

The charitable program is a partnership with Farmington Hills-based PKC Group that dates back to 2004, when the company was part of Alcoa. PKC makes vehicle wiring harnesses.

Students and employees packed bags with turkeys, pumpkin pies, potatoes, rolls and canned foods that make up a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Busch's Fresh Food Market of Farmington Hills is also a project sponsor.
