Miss Farmington Runner-Up Hosts 'Bowling for Dance' Fundraiser

Emma Feeheley plans to use proceeds to provide dance bags, dancewear and costumes for a group of young dance students.

Miss Farmington runner-up Emma Feeheley, a sophomore at Mercy High School, will host a fundraiser Nov. 15 to share her passion for dance with a group of area children.

Half of the $20 per person admission to "Bowling for Dance", held at Drakeshire Lanes on Grand River in Farmington, will go toward providing the little dancers with dance bags, leotards, tights and even a costume for their spring recital.

The event will include a chance to win prizes for those who bring a donation of household paper products, winter wear for children, canned goods or unopened toiletries that will go to Neighborhood House, or juice boxes, milk boxes or individually packaged treats for the little dancers.

Emma also set up an online donation form at http://www.gofundme.com/4qxx08

The Nov. 15 event starts at 7 p.m. For information, write to efeeheley@yahoo.com.
