Free Earth Day Activities Include Ribbon Cutting for New Nature Trail in Heritage Park

Roast marshmallows, participate in an archeological dig and more during the April 22 event.

Celebrate Earth Day at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills April 22, with free activities that start at 5 p.m.

Archeological digs, nature twister, rock painting, face painting, stories by the Longhouse, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, and much more will be offered, and you can witness the ribbon cutting on the new Nature Discovery Trail at 5:45 p.m. Exhibitors that will show you how to save money, save energy and reduce your impact on the environment.

Meals fit for everyone in the family will be available for $5 per person from Johnny Pomodoro’s. Registration is not required. To learn more, call 248-477-1135.
