Santa Claus is Coming to Farmington and Farmington Hills

Kids have three opportunities next week to share their Christmas wishes with Santa.

Santa Claus will spend a lot of time in Farmington and Farmington Hills next week, giving kids three chances to share their Christmas wishes:

  • The annual City of Farmington Hills Holiday Lights ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3, with lighting of trees and a candle near the fountain area on the Farmington Hills municipal campus. Santa arrives at Fire Headquarters after the ceremony.
  • Santa arrives at noon in downtown Farmington, as part of the Holly Days celebration at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion. Mrs. Claus will visit as well, reading holiday stories to children at Mike Greer Photography Studio. Activities start at 10 a.m.
  • Finally, Santa will help turn on the lights at the Governor Warner Mansion on Grand River, during the 28th annual Christmas tree lighting and holiday open house. The Mansion opens at 5 p.m. for tours; Santa shows up at 5:30 p.m.
