One of Your Greatest Veteran Assets

What an American Legion Post service Officer can do for our veterans.

You may or may not know Anthony (Tony) Mallia but, if you are an Armed Forces Veteran (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard), Tony could be one of your greatest assets. He is the Post Service Officer of located at 31775 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48336. Tony can be contacted at 248-310-4190.

As the Post Service Officer, Mallia carries on the tradition and quality of The American Legion’s Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation program. (VA&R).

The VA&R program involves a comprehensive network of service officers at the
Post, County, District, Department, and National levels to furnish direct assistance
to veterans and their dependents and survivors, in claims for any federal or
state benefits or services to which they may be entitled.

For example, just during the month of December, 2011 Tony Mallia conducted 10 personal interviews, filed 3 original claims, re-opened 2 claims, and filed 2 claims for an increase of benefits for Service Connected Disability Compensation.  Plus, he opened 5 claims for Non-Service Connected Disability Pensions.

Other services that Mallia performed for the veterans were acquisition of 5 DD-214s ("Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty") and medals and awards.

These are just a few of the services Tony Mallia provides and that is why he could be your greatest assist in obtaining the benefits that you are entitled to.
