Hey Teens, Going Anywhere Fun This Summer?

If you're heading out of town this summer, use Patch's blogging platform to show off what you're doing and to keep in touch with those back home.

Hey, teens!

Going anywhere fun this summer? Patch wants to hear about it!

If you're heading to summer camp, taking a favorite vacation, going to a conference for an organization you belong to or anything else that's getting you away from home, Patch wants to help you document your travels.

Our blogging platform is a great way to keep in touch with those back home, while also letting everyone see the fun times you're having and the different things you're experiencing.

Alex Poulin is a Boy Scout who went to the 2013 National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia and he blogged on Patch a week prior to leaving up until arriving at the big event. It's been a fun way for his friends and family back home to see what he's up to and also a great way to connect with other Scouts at the jamboree. (Read his blog here.)

If you're going away and want to show off what you're up to, let Patch help you stay connected. To get started, just head to our main blogging page and start your blog. There, you'll be asked to do three things — to name your blog, type a short description of it and upload a thumbnail to go along with it. Once you hit create, you'll be on your way to making your first post.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!
