Gratitude is an Attitude!

Joy is a state of mind. Grateful thoughts lead to giving actions...

gratitude |ˈgratəˌt(y)oōd|

noun

the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness : she expressed her gratitude to the committee for their support.

ORIGIN late Middle English : from Old French, or from medieval Latin gratitudo, from Latin gratus ‘pleasing, thankful.’

WOW! Readiness to SHOW appreciation for and to RETURN kindness. This is such a refreshing thing to share. Gratitude is not just the experience of thinking on what you have but what you’re willing to share. It’s like thanking God for the abundance in your life by bringing that abundance to another.

I see the technical definition describes gratitude as a noun, however, my definition lets you know that gratitude is more than a feeling but a verb. That action is JOY in motion. Giving deletes the idea of lack. There’s no room for doubt, worry, or any other negative emotions when gratitude fills your heart.

Gratitude makes impossibility a fleeting moment that has no place in the design of your journey to your dreams. When you look around at what success you have achieved until now, smile and know that in that moment you are truly grateful and unstoppable. Once this recognition is accomplished, you realize the best way to express what you feel and believe is to bring someone along with you who desires to express that gratitude.

Merci!

Grama, in addition to our Thursday map, you can click on the Events link at the top of the page, andRead More along the left side, you'll see "Garage Sales". Just click on that, and you'll see all the listings. They should be among the events in our newsletter, too. Hope that helps!
