Mae Busby, Volunteer and Dominican Order Member, Dies

Our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones over the past week.

Longtime Dominican Order member Mae Frances Busby of Farmington Hills died July 25. She was 87. 

Busby, a volunteer at the Legions of Mary and the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament, was married to William Busby for 58 years. William and son Bruce preceded her in death. She is survived by Ron, Jill (Tom) Dilley, Jan (Chris) Trombley and Judy, and Bruce's wife Suzie; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. 

Visitation at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home will be held July 28, 1 p.m.-5 p.m., and July 29, 2 p.m.-8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. wake service. A funeral will be held July 30, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.
