"Grow with the Arts"

Since this a 'Farmington-Farmington Hills'
publication, it is disappointing that there is very little LOCAL news in Patch now.
    This week is the Festival of the Arts, May 1 through 3. Thursday May 1: Awards Night designating the 2015 Artist in Residence, Service to the Arts and High School Art Awards. 
May 2nd : Art after Dark, Music, Art and Wine tasting ( by ticket only)
May 3: Family Festival day including entertainment from 10 to 4...Farmington Art Foundation exhibit and  Farmington Community Arts Council members are represented. Demos and activities. 
     Do you have a reporter covering anything local? The Farmington Community Arts Council ( FCAC) and the Farmington Area Arts Commission (FAAC) are active entities and not being represented
in Patch as they once were. The sponsors for the Festival are local businesses showing support for the ARTS.
