Letter to the Editor: Goodfellows, Neighborhood House Say Thanks for Donations

Calls for donations translate into dramatic increases in giving, Farmington Area Goodfellows president Dave Kenerson says.

The Farmington Area Goodfellows and Neighborhood House make periodic pleas to the Farmington/Farmington Hills community through the year when our food pantry becomes low. Whenever we ask the community to help with food donations, you continue to respond with the great generosity you’ve shown over the years with our Holiday Assistance Program.

When our drivers make their normal pick up rounds at both Farmington/Farmington Hills City Halls and the downtown Farmington Public Library, they can immediately tell a request has gone out to the community, because the giving dramatically increases.

Unfortunately, the need for assistance is still high and we are doing our best to help the less fortunate in our community. We need your assistance to provide the help and we cannot “THANK YOU” enough for your continued generosity.
