Local Students Participate in 13th Annual AT&T/MACUL Student Technology Showcase
Ric Wiltse (pictured, at left), executive director of the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL), greets students from Walled Lake Elementary School in Walled Lake who participated in the 13th annual AT&T/MACUL Student Technology Showcase held October 23 at the State Capitol Building in Lansing. Students are (from left) Caroline Christenson, Parker Stasak and Noah Kanner. The school was one of nearly 35 elementary, middle and high schools statewide that participated in the event, whose purpose is to show elected members of the Michigan State Senate and House of Representatives how technology is being used in the classroom to enhance student achievement. AT&T, Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant, and Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) sponsor the event.
