Novi Patch Editor Takes on New Role

Editor Joni Hubred-Golden and Associate Editor Aysha Jamali will join Rebecca Jaskot in writing about our city.

After serving for nearly two years as the editor of Novi Patch, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch in which I will be writing local news stories for eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to Novi.

Editor Joni Hubred-Golden (from Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch) and Associate Editor Aysha Jamali will be stepping up to add more coverage to Novi Patch. Both are wonderfully talented and more than capable of giving you all the news, features and information you need about the community. We have some very exciting stories planned and I can't wait to share them all with you.

You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person.

You can continue to send me news tips at rebecca.jaskot@patch.com, but you can also contact Joni at joni.hubred-golden@patch.com or at 248-534-2425 and Aysha at aysha.jamali@patch.com or at 734-369-1159.

If you want to let us know about an event, you can continue to upload them directly to our events calendar. If you have news or photos to share, you can share them in our announcements section.

Thank you for two wonderful years as your editor. I'm very excited for what the future has in store for me, you and our city. I'll be seeing you around!

P.S. If you haven't already, consider signing up for our newsletter to get the latest news and information about Novi in your inbox.
