Where in Farmington or Farmington Hills?

This week's photo in Farmington Hills has a bit of history attached to it.

This week's mystery photo focuses in on an interesting feature of a historic building located somewhere in Farmington Hills.

Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to tell us in the comments section below where this picture was taken. If no one has guessed after the first day, we'll post a clue.

So far, we haven't had to do that. Can we keep the streak going?

Connie and Lisa are correct - this is an architectural feature over a window at the Spicer House. Next week, we'll be in Farmington again. And if you have suggestions for a mystery photo, please email them to joni.hubred-golden@patch.com.

Liked this photo, because it is distinctive, beautiful, and not an obscure detail of a water tower or other. As youight kniw, this home was designed by famous architect, Marcus Burroughs, so Joann was partial correct.
