Armed Robber Hits Comerica Branch Inside Kroger

Police say the suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash early Thursday afternoon.

An armed robber took an undetermined amount of cash from the Comerica Bank branch inside the grocery store at 12 Mile and Halsted at around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, police say.

According to Investigative Division Commander David Stasch, "The suspect approached the bank inside, brandished a gun and demanded cash." The man left after he was given the money, Stasch said.

The suspect is described as 5'10', 185 lbs. He was wearing a mask, blue work pants, a dark colored sweatshirt and rubber gloves.
