A 25-year-old Bancroft, MI woman faces narcotics-related charges, after police found a "Hello Kitty" pipe on the hood of her vehicle during a Friday afternoon traffic stop at Eight Mile and Middlebelt.
According to the report filed by Farmington Hills Police, police stopped the woman's vehicle because its temporary license plate was not visible through the tinted back window. While talking with the driver, the officer saw the "Hello Kitty smoking pipe", with suspected burned marijuana, on the hood just below the windshield wipers. The report indicated that the driver told police she was on probation for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
A search of the vehicle turned up a bag of marijuana in the vehicle's ash tray and a larger bag in the trunk. The report indicated that the woman's 3-year-old son, who is autistic, was in the vehicle and was turned over to her cousin.
