Construction on Farmington Hills Police Department Begins This Week
Visitors should look for parking and the Command Desk on the west side of the building.
Look for construction to begin this week at headquarters, 11 Mile and Orchard Lake Roads.
The project, which includes renovations and security upgrades, will last for several weeks, but will not interrupt the delivery of services or access to the building, according to a press release issued by the city.
The Command Desk will be temporarily relocated on the west side of the building and some minor parking restrictions will be in effect. Spaces clearly marked “Police Business Parking” will be located west of the main entrance, along 11 Mile Road.

The parking spaces directly in front of the building will be designated for
construction equipment and workers. Access to the temporary Command
Desk will be clearly posted and marked, the release indicated.
