Suspended license, illegal fireworks

A 23-year-old Detroit woman was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon on the M-5 off-ramp, after being stopped because she had a dangling ornament on her rear view mirror. She received a ticket for the moving violation and was released.

Soliciting without a permit

Responding to the report of a solicitor in the Valley View Ct. and Power Rd. neighborhood, police told a 22-year-old Detroit man he needed a permit to go door-to-door. According to the report, the man said he was working for AT&T, asking homeowners who subscribed if they wanted additional services and asking non-customers whether they wanted to sign up.
