Crime Report: Milford Woman Faces Charges After Arrest in Farmington

The following arrest information was supplied by the Farmington Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 48-year-old Milford woman faces a charge of driving under the influence of narcotics, after another motorist reported her vehicle being driven recklessly on Grand River around 8:15 p.m. on June 1. According to a report filed with , the woman's vehicle was stopped at Farmington and Nine Mile, after the officer saw it swerve on the road. The woman told police she was weaving on the road because she was searching for her makeup and that she had taken a Xanax. After failing sobriety tests, the woman was taken into custody, the report indicated.

Alcohol possession charged

A 17-year-old from Farmington Hills faces charges after having alcohol in his system when he came to the Farmington Public Safety Dept. June 1 for a breath test required as a condition of probation. According to the report, the teen told police he had several beers at a prom after-party. His probation officer was notified of the incident, the report indicated. 

Theft from auto

A Farmington resident told police May 30 that a case containing a computer and debit card were stolen from her car sometime between May 19 and May 20. According to the report, the woman told police that she wasn't sure when or where the items were taken, but someone had used the debit card and deposited a fraudulent check into the account.
