Does Goldilocks Like Strawberries? Woman Says Fruit Stolen in Home Invasion

A Farmington woman called police early Saturday morning to report that she believes someone stole strawberries from her home when she was out of town more than a week ago.

A Farmington woman thinks someone broke into her home and either ate or stole her strawberries.

She called Farmington police shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, to report that a container of strawberries was missing from the refrigerator in her residence in the 3300 block of Kingslane Court, the Observer & Eccentric reports.

The Farmington Public Safety Department reported there were no signs of forced entry, but the woman thinks someone broke in while she was out of town from July 9-12 and took the berries.

Nothing else was missing.

According to police, there’s not much to be done about the case, as there was no evidence at the scene to process.
