Driver with 31 License Suspensions Faces Charges in Farmington Hills

A 40-year-old Detroit man with 31 suspensions on his license faces new charges in Farmington Hills, following a traffic stop shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
According to Farmington Hills police, an officer on patrol stopped the man's vehicle on 12 Mile Road for having a defective headlight. As he spoke with the man, the officer spotted a small bag of marijuana inside the car. In addition to the current suspensions, the man's record showed he had seven previous license suspensions.

A medical marijuana patient faces charges of illegally transporting the drug, after a patrol officer stopped the 30-year-old Detroit man's vehicle Monday night, near Grand River and Drake, for disobeying a traffic signal. A 20-year-old Farmington Hills man faces charges after police found marijuana and a blotter of "acid" inside his vehicle during an Sunday traffic stop. According to police, the man's vehicle was stopped at Orchard Lake and 12 Mile Roads shortly after 2 p.m., because of a faulty brake light.
