Suspicious Behavior Prompts Call to Farmington Hills Police

Police find a vacant home on Lytle Road ransacked Friday after a neighbor heard loud noises.

Farmington Hills Police found a vacant home in disarray, after a resident reported speaking with a man who said he was doing utility work in her neighborhood

According to the report, the resident noticed a man wearing an orange and yellow vest near a home in the 34000 block of Lytle Road. After she heard several loud bangs, the man told her he was working in the area because of electrical issues, then quickly walked away.

The report indicated that the woman became suspicious, because the man was not with DTE Energy. Police found damage to the home's door; nothing was taken, because the owner had removed valuables.
