Family Announces Funeral Plans for Bob Cipriano

The Farmington Hills resident was killed during an attack in his home early Monday.

Funeral services will take place next week for , who was at his Farmington Hills home.

The family announced in a statement issued Friday afternoon through Botsford Hospital that visitation will be held April 23 and April 24 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at in Farmington Hills.

The funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at , according to the Detroit News.

The family wrote they are "grateful for the abundance of love, support, and prayers from their community." The statement indicated that while Bob's wife Rosemary, 51, and son Salvatore, 17, continue to show improvement, they remain in critical condition.

"With your prayers and the help of the doctors and staff at Botsford Hospital, we are optimistic that they will recover," the statement read. "We are grateful that the media, in cooperation with law enforcement, continue to honor the family's request for privacy in this gravest of times."

Salvatore's twin brother, Tanner, and 8-year-old sister, Isabella, were not injured in the attack. The Ciprianos' son Tucker, 19, and his friend Mitchell Young, 20, in connection with the murder and assaults. 

A trust fund has been set up to help the family. Donations can be made to "Cipriano Childrens Trust" in care of McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 West Twelve Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
