Farmington Hills Fire Department Announces Top Awards

Five firefighters have been honored for contributions above and beyond their regular duties.

Farmington Hills Fire Chief Corey Bartsch is proud of all members of his department, but some have earned special honors this year.

“A few of our members stood out among the rest," Bartsch said, "and are rightfully being honored for their dedication and actions, above and beyond what is expected of their position.”

Shift Lieutenant Jason Olszewski has been named “Firefighter of the Year” and “Career Firefighter of the Year”.  The married father of five is an 11-year veteran of the department.
