Farmington Hills Murder Victim was Dearborn Schools Business Services Director

A district spokesperson says co-workers are shocked by Bob Cipriano's death.

Dearborn Public Schools spokesperson David Mustonen has confirmed that the victim of an early morning homicide in Farmington Hills is the school district's director of business services, Bob Cipriano. 

have and another suspect in connection with the murder and the assault of two other family members, who police said were taken to  with critical injuries.

"We’re just in shock," Mustonen said. "There were people here who worked with Bob every day. We just continue our prayers for him and his family – especially his wife and son, who are still in the hospital in critical condition."

Mustonen said counselors will be at the district's administrative offices all day. "The staff in business services are doing whatever they can to keep the district moving," he added. 

spokesperson Diane Bauman said neither Tucker Cipriano nor the injured teen are currently students in the district. However, she said, principals have been notified that counselors are available for any student who knows the family and feels the need to talk about the tragedy.

Readers described the Ciprianos as a "very good family" with a troubled son, and remembered Bob Cipriano's wife as "a dear person who always extended a warm heart and hand."
