Farmington Hills Police Arrest a Suspect in Andy's Market Burglary

Evidence found at the scene leads to a suspect in Southfield.

According to a release issued late Friday afternoon, evidence collected at the scene led to the identification of a suspect, who was arrested in Southfield. The 42-year-old Detroit resident, who is on parole, will be arraigned in . 

Officers arrived at Andy's Market around 6 a.m. Thursday to find someone had tossed a rock through the front door. The release indicated that a K-9 team tracked the suspect, but lost the track in a nearby subdivision.

to a series of business burglaries; nine have occurred in the Middlebelt and 9 Mile area since December 2011. Authorities urge continued vigilance; any unusual or suspicious activity in the vicinity of closed businesses should be reported.
