Farmington Hills Police Officer Wins M.A.D.D. Award

Officer Brian Moore leads the department in alcohol-related arrests.

The  has named Officer Brian Moore as the 2012 recipient of the Farmington Hills M.A.D.D. Life Saver Award.

Moore was among 95 law enforcement officers honored at the Lifesavers Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon, held at the San Marino Banquet Center in Troy on August 1.

In a release issued by the department, Moore was described as "a leader in all alcohol-related arrests among his peers" with exemplary alcohol-related investigations. "Officer Moore is well respected by his peers and his supervisors for his work ethic, professionalism, and dedication."

Moore started with FHPD more than 15 years ago, serving as a Cadet, Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, and Narcotics Detective. He has been recognized with a Chief’s Citation, two Merit Citations, one Life Saving Award, 12 Unit Citations, four Citations, two Professional Service Awards, two Commendations, and four Letters of Appreciation.
