UPDATED: Farmington Hills Police Arrest Suspect in Early Morning Homicide on Rose Hill Drive

Four schools were on lock-down, and police asked for the public's help in locating a young man in connection with the crime.

Two suspects are now in custody in connection with the early morning beating death of a Farmington Hills man. 

Police announced the arrest of Tucker Robert Cipriano at around 8:40 a.m. today.  spokesperson Diane Bauman said the lock down has been lifted on four Farmington Hills schools – , , and  – that were operated in a secure mode as searched for Cipriano.

Police took one suspect into custody early this morning and spent several hours looking for Cipriano, described as 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. Police said he may have been driving a blue 2002 Ford Ranger pickup, with plate number CHG7962.

Police Chief Chuck Nebus told reporters this morning that Cipriano may have left the area, and WJBK-TV Fox 2 Detroit reports he was located in the Keego Harbor area.

Farmington Hills Police Sgt. Brian Bastianelli told the Detroit Free Press early this morning that police believe Cipriano does not pose a threat to the public at large, because the incident was a "domestic situation."

A woman and a teen-ager were also critically injured in the incident, which occurred on Rose Hill Drive, in the 11 Mile and Orchard Lake Road area. WDIV-TV reports that the victims, a 51-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man, were severely beaten. 

According to a news release issued by Farmington Hills Police around 6 a.m., authorities were called to a home on Rose Hill Drive at 2:50 a.m., where they found one man dead, and another man and woman injured. The injured victims were taken to .
