UPDATED: Farmington Hills Police Arrest Suspect in Early Morning Homicide on Rose Hill Drive

Four schools were on lock-down, and police asked for the public's help in locating a young man in connection with the crime.

Two suspects are now in custody in connection with the early morning beating death of a Farmington Hills man.

Police announced the arrest of Tucker Robert Cipriano at around 8:40 a.m. today.  spokesperson Diane Bauman said the lock down has been lifted on four Farmington Hills schools – , , and  – that were operated in a secure mode as searched for Cipriano.

Police took one suspect into custody early this morning and spent several hours looking for Cipriano, described as 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. Police said he may have been driving a blue 2002 Ford Ranger pickup, with plate number CHG7962.

Police Chief Chuck Nebus told reporters this morning that Cipriano may have left the area, and WJBK-TV Fox 2 Detroit reports he was located in the Keego Harbor area.

Farmington Hills Police Sgt. Brian Bastianelli told the Detroit Free Press early this morning that police believe Cipriano does not pose a threat to the public at large, because the incident was a "domestic situation."

A woman and a teen-ager were also critically injured in the incident, which occurred on Rose Hill Drive, in the 11 Mile and Orchard Lake Road area. WDIV-TV reports that the victims, a 51-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man, were severely beaten.

According to a news release issued by Farmington Hills Police around 6 a.m., authorities were called to a home on Rose Hill Drive at 2:50 a.m., where they found one man dead, and another man and woman injured. The injured victims were taken to .

This is a developing story.

This is a terrible situation. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the investigators.

I knew him in Elementary school and high school. He was a really troubled kid, but I would have never thought he would be capable of this. My prayers are with his family and his little sister, who was not injured, but now has to deal with this horrifying incident.

The kid looks like a grown-up alter boy. If I were to see him on the street, I'd say to myself, "Gee, his parents must be so proud of him!" So, what happened? Here's a young man who could easily be the class president; head of the debate team; top player of the chess club; quarterback, elected M.V.P., three years running; homecoming king; and (naturally) the steady boyfriend of the head cheerleader since their freshman year. Okay. My imagination is running overtime. But, ask yourself this? Were any of these accomplishments ever a part of Tucker's life? Could it be possible that at one point in time, Tucker had it all? Perhaps he started running with the wrong crowd. Eventually, this estranged him from his folks and caused his girl to break up with him. Now, he's filled with anger and frustration. He blames his parents for not holding him with a firmer hand. Everyone is at fault, but Tucker. Now, what is he going to do without his new friends? Who's going to support him in court? His dad certainly can't! He thinks to himself, "Oh! If I could just turn the clock back!" Don't think that way, Tucker. Children think like that! But, now you have new realities to live with, Tucker. You must accept any consequences meted out to you. Your dad died a horribly painful and slow death! But, I'm sure he loved you, even with his last breath. You should be sure of it, too. As for your new friends? I wouldn't count on them. Peace, Tucker.

Tucker and I dated for almost two years in high school He always had troubles, with himself and his family. He never knew how much they loved him. And now, he'll never get to know. Rose(his mom) always tried her hardest with him. To make him happy, and make sure he was the best her could be. She loved Tucker so much. And he loved Isabella(the little girl). She and I were very close when Tucker and I dated. My love and prayers go out to to the Cipriano family. Robert(Mr. Cipriano), rest in peace.

WOW! 1st off Michelle, you have far too much time on your hands to be commenting more than a full page on a news article in which you have no affiliation with. Second and much more importantly, what a judgemental, stereotypical, smug, unhappy person you must be to PRETEND for even one second you have any idea who this person was and what went through their head. Do us all a favor and next time, keep your 2 page blog full of wrong opinions to yourself and save us all the time.

I knew Tucker and like Courtney said, he always had troubles. My heart goes out to his family, I never met them but I always heard good things. And I am praying for Tucker as well. And to Michelle, this is not your personal blog. You have no idea what you're talking about. This isn't a creative writing class. But you're right, your imagination just ran away with you. Too much.
