Farmington Hills Resident Arrested for Robbing Sandwich Delivery Person

The Central Michigan University freshman faces up to 10 years in prison.

A Farmington Hills resident and three other men have been charged with larceny for stealing sandwiches from a delivery person at Central Michigan University, according to an article in Central Michigan Life.

According to the article, the men ordered eight sandwiches from Menna's Joint on Jan. 12 without having the money to pay for them. The men planned to take the food from the delivery person and run away, which they indeed ended up doing.

The article says the police were able to track down the men using the cell phone number they used to order the food.

The four men—Joseph Augustin Petrovich, 19, of Farmington Hills, Daniel John Abrahamson, 20, of Northville, Dustin Edward Cochran, 17, of Indian River, and Kyle Elsen Weckesser, 22, of East Lansing—have each been charged with larceny from a person and conspiracy to commit larceny from a person, according to an article in Advisor & Source Newspapers.

All four are out on a $10,000 bond and if convicted, face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
