A Farmington Hills weight loss clinic barred a 44-year-old Southfield woman from returning, after a Nov. 14 assault on an employee.

According to a report filed with Farmington Hills Police, officers were called to the Medical Weight Loss Clinic on Northwestern Highway Nov. 14 shortly after 11:15 a.m. An employee told police that she was working with a client when the Southfield woman arrived, complaining about her goal weight and the cost of the program.

The report indicated that the employee was attempting to take the woman into her office to calm her down, when the woman pushed the employee up against a wall and placed her arms around the employee's neck. A witness told police the Southfield woman also threatened to kill the employee, who had minor bruises and red marks on her neck.
