Farmington Investigators Seek Suspects in Daytime Break-In

A neighbor spotted the suspects walking away from a home on Sherwood, in the area of Grand River and Orchard Lake Road.

A daytime break-in in the 31700 block of Sherwood Street in Farmington Monday has public safety officers looking for two male suspects. 

According to a Nixle.com alert, a neighbor contacted authorities after spotting two people walking from the home, which is in the area of Grand River and Orchard Lake Road, at around 1 p.m.

When the neighbor approached the men, they ran away, and police believe they were picked up by a tan vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry 4-door with a paper plate in the back window. The vehicle headed east on Grand River Ave. 

The suspects are described in the alert as "an African-American male in his early 20's wearing black and grey clothes" and an "African -American male in his early 20's wearing a red shirt." 

The home was ransacked, and investigators are still working to determine what was taken.
